Each of the twenty-four tents in this thatched camp has a stunning view of the surrounding dam. Here’s who we have in camp:

Amenities including a loft DSTv room, fully-equipped kitchen, under-cover play area with table tennis, and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a huge covered terrace.

Sundowners are frequently enjoyed in the outdoor braai boma, which features a two-story bar and an outdoor dining/conference area with breathtaking views of the dam.

There are six separate cottages, each with its own private garden and a view of the native trees and grass. Two of the cabins feature three beds, while the other four can accommodate four guests comfortably (two beds downstairs and two beds upstairs). The picture is finished with a tennis court and a pool.

The unique “Bush Camp Style” Lodge, built from rugged sandstone and thatch grass up against the Kerkenberg Mountain’s majestic rock face, offers cozy chalets with en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, outside braai area, and gorgeous views that ensures a comfortable and restful stay.

The reserve is home to many different types of wildlife, including the African Buffalo, Sable, Roan, Eland, Reedbuck, Zebra, Lechwe, Waterbuck, and the Secret Six.

Our in-suite thatched Chalets and lapa is fully equipped and serviced. Perfect for a South African hunting safari with family and friends. The views from the veranda overlooking game at the watering hole and the vast valleys and mountains, is breathtaking. At night you can look at the sunset, touch the  stars and let your mind disappear in the authentic African camp fire while you enjoy your Kudu biltong and the hospitality of our family and staff. This lodge gives you the real Africa safari feeling, hiding deep in the savannah bush.

Our Nhenda camp is in the Mozambican province of Tete, near the Cahora Bassa Dam. The area is made up of one million acres of wild land where animals are free to roam. The dam is 60 miles away. Most of the habitat is made up of mountains with thick bush. Dry river beds cut through the mountains. This is a true wilderness that hasn’t been touched by people, and the sunsets over the lake are amazing.

We pick up our clients at the airport in Tete, then drive 4 hours to the dam. Once we get there, we switch to one of our boats to cross the water to our camp.
