ABOUT
Liebenberg Safaris is a family-owned hunting outfitter founded in 2014 by professional hunter Roelof Liebenberg. The operation focuses on delivering authentic African hunting experiences combined with personal hospitality and exceptional trophy quality.
Situated in South Africa’s North West Province, Liebenberg Safaris conducts hunts across several prime concessions in Limpopo, the Free State, and Mpumalanga. These diverse hunting areas cover roughly 40,000 acres of terrain, offering a wide variety of habitats and species.
Their mission is simple: every hunter should leave camp as part of the Liebenberg Safaris family, not just another client.
Hunting Experience
Liebenberg Safaris offers both rifle hunting and bow hunting, with most hunts conducted through traditional spot-and-stalk methods on foot. This approach ensures an authentic and challenging African hunting experience.
Hunting days typically include:
- Early morning hunt (around sunrise until midday)
- Afternoon hunt until sunset
- Trophy tracking and field preparation
- Professional trophy photography
- Experienced professional hunters and trackers guide clients throughout the safari to ensure safety, ethical hunting practices and the best trophy opportunities.
