Grootvallei is our farm situated in the North Western Free State

Grootvallei is our farm situated in the North Western Free State, just outside the small town of Boshof and 50km from the picturesque and historical town, Kimberley.

This area is malaria-free and easily accessible from Bloemfontein and Kimberley airports. We also have a runway facility on our farm Grootvallei. We offer plains game hunting at its best and a variety of species to choose from. We also offer big game hunting on request as we specialize in buffalo breeding for selective selling as well as hunting. Through we aim to attract bow hunters of good form, we also cater for rifle hunters with the guidance of our experienced PH. Our hide facilities allow not only bow hunters to experience our game in their natural habitat up close, but photographers can enjoy this luxury too.

Accommodation on Grootvallei is of high quality and fully equipped for self catering. Grootvallei is an ideal environment for family, friends and corporate companies get to gathers. No Keys will be handed over unless full deposit is received and reflected in our account.
Check in time must be pre-arranged at least 48 hours prior to check in.
Check in times are between 14:00 - 20:00 Check out times are between 08:00-11:00 to allow preparation for next guest arrival.
No person of the number agreed at the time of reseveration may occupy the property. Please note that children over the age of 8 years old are counted as a person when making the reservation.
We accept no liability for any accident ,injury ,loss or damage sustained by any resident, their family, visitors , animal , vehicles , or personal effects, howsoever caused.
The use of accommodation , facilities and equipment is entirely at the users own risk. Vehicles, baggage , rifles and personal belongings are at the tenants risk. Please note that if the PH ( professional hunter ) or guide feels one is not in state of mind to hunt or use a firearm / rifle ,the PH are allowed to ban you from any hunting or shooting.
No shooting will be allowed without the guide or PH being present.
No shooting will be allowed after sunset. No alcohol or drugs are allowed at time of hunting.
Please note no smoking in the house.
The farm and all facilities are very precious to us, and we ask that you respect it and treat it as if it were your own. In the case of any breakage we will keep you responsible and we will send you a bill, so please try not to break anything. In the case of theft we will keep you responsible and we will involve the Police. So please leave the things in the same way you have received it. Please switch of unnecessary lights, to save energy.
